Can I get a little Prada or how about Christian with that stiletto?

So what's it going to be? A little peep, cleavage or closed toe? How about Christian Louboutin or Prada? Two of my fav shoe designers, they bring it together quite nicely. Take for instance the Prada cut-out bootie, you can rock that with some skinni' jeans or cut-off jean shorts (like Bilsen's), a colorful or not so colorful loose top and the infamous big tote. Sexy. Or, if you feel like exposing the cleavage, take up Christian on that offer. His sexy pump is sassy and sensual...just make sure you keep the eye-level cleavage to a minimum. I'm thinking for that heel, how about a royal blue sexy short dress, or if you was to accentuate the red sole go for the red mini dress. Definitely a short dress for that cleavage. If you are feeling a bit flirty in pink and want to peep a little toe, Christian can once again come to the rescue. The semi-box shaped front of that shoe resembles a ballerina pointe shoe. And what are ballerinas? Sexy, graceful, and fabulous, like you of course. It's a tough design to walk in, for the novice, but once you get the rhythm down, you'll be doing pirouettes in no time! For that pink beauty, I would say sexy in white. Well it depends where you are going. Going to happy hour? Picture this, white skinni pants, and a pale, yet slightly bright, yellow top that is loose and hangs low in the back. A long necklace with hints of pink and a clutch to match. Very chic. That's just one combination. I can go on for hours finding outfits to match all of those shoes! Last but not least, the budding Prada-ian flower....It's such an elegant shoe that can be worn both in the office and at dinner. To me, it rings black colors...it's a nice shoe to pair with black outfits. Just focus on the design of the outfit for this one. Whether it is a tailored suit or a low V-neck dress, focus on the elegance of the design. It's what I call, the elder of the bunch, so it deserves a little respect...

Rachel is in the OC is out.

Can anyone say Rachel-I-got-it-together-Bilsen? She is rockin' the fab in all of her outfits. I don't think I have been disappointed with any of her outfits just yet....and if you really take a closer look they are so simple to put together. I know some of you may be saying "Yea, if I had a size 2 waist!" But you can also make it work for you. Check out the first picture where she is wearing the over-sized, or what I like to call the one-size fits all dress...what makes that outfit? It's all about the purse. You can throw on one of those one-size fits all in any color, hot red, pink, black, blue and add on a big tote and you are rockin'. If you feel uncomfortable showing your legs, a long cotton halter dress works just as fine. The key is the big purse and the thong sandals....no not those clunky-monkey sandals, with the thick sole or the 1/2 inch rubber heel...it's all about the flat, sleek sandal now-a-days. Just make sure to get those toes in shape, because those sandals bring out the best in your feet. Cool nail polish for this summer season are hot pinks, pale pinks, almost white, hot yellows and oranges....try to match the color with your skin tone.

Check out the last picture-perfect Bilson. Those shoes are smokin' hot! And, Bilson knows how to work with what she's got. She is really petite, so she paired those short-shorts with heels to elongate her legs...at the same time she didn't wear them Sir Mix A Lot dasiy-duke short, which kept the outfit classy, simple and most of all rockin'! What is the first thing you notice from that outfit? My eyes wander to the contrast in color between the dark denim wash and the camel colored shoes. It's a nice earthy-tone contrast that keeps the focus on both her sexy legs and the shoes. You can create that same look, with either short-shorts, knee-length shorts or even jeans. Tall women fair better with longer shorts, since they usually have longer legs...shorter girls add an umph' to their legs with the short-jean look. Also, if you have an old pair of jeans, snip em'! There is nothing sexier than cut-off shorts, just make sure to cut in a STRAIGHT line and off the excess frays...

What is about her outfits that make her shine? It's the fact that it looks like she woke up and threw on the first thing she saw without making any effort, yet somehow it managed to come together beautifully. Bilson also projects a sense of self in all of her outfits. What do her outfits scream to you? Can you get a sense for what Bilson might be like from her outfits? To me she projects an easy-going, bohemian, yet sophisticated kinda gal. What do you think?

Remember you can make any outfit stylish, yet your own...

“When in doubt, wear red.” - Bill Blass

We'll start with one of the most intense colors on the palette: RED. It is an emotionally-charged color that can enhance your metabolism, increases your respiration rate and raise your blood pressure! On one end, it represents sexuality, passion, joy, and love, while on the other end, it stands for power, energy, strength and determination.

Take a look at Mrs. Klum's dress...what are some of your immediate thoughts and feelings? To me, it screams sultry sex kitten. Even the neckline and the train are strategically positioned to accentuate the intensity of its color. How different would that dress be if it was in blue or, let's say, orange?

RED screams attention, which you can use to your advantage in various settings. How many of you have used it in the bedroom to draw sex-appeal? I mean, it's no wonder why best-selling lingerie is hot fire red! Think about it, when you want to look sexy, what color immediately pops in your head? You can also wear red lipstick with caution. I say that because if you are going for the red lips, don't overdo it with the rest of your makeup. It's the either or rule. Red Lips= Minimal makeup. Carolyn Murphy rocks the red lipstick in this picture:

Now don't think that Heidi Klum and Carolyn Murphy are the only gals who can look fabulous in red. If you do, stop right now! You are selling yourself short and missing out on RED's perks. It doesn't matter if you tall, skinny, short, pear-shaped, or athletic, you too can use RED to your advantage. If you are not feeling your best, maybe you feel like you are having an "ugly day" add a little RED to your attire and watch the transformation. The only caveat is that you rock the RED. We are all unique and beautiful individuals, so how we rock it will vary according to our inner energy. I can help you get it together, so that you are able to wear it in a way that exposes your inner core and beauty. Shoot me some questions, wardrobe disasters, red confusion, or whatever else you want to know or do to start using red for you soul. And, don't hesitate to post some of your favorite red combinations....I'd love to hear about your RED experiences and what it means to you!

What's your color scheme? These are just a few color combinations that can be worn 100 + ways. I love color and can't really live without it! How about you? And by the way, anyone can incorporate color into their wardrobe, even if there is only a hint of fuschia on your shoes it can still brighten your look and make you look fabulous...Time and time again I've heard women and men say that they can't wear bright colors, but are bored with their gray attire. All I have to say is let loose and challenge yourself! I don't mean that you have to walk around looking like an overgrown Skittle, but you can accent with hints of bright....have fun, live a little! As research has shown color effects your body, emotions and everyone whom you come in contact with. I will follow-up with an article detailing the researched colors that make lasting or not so lasting impressions in various occasions. So, feel free to post your favorite color combinations, pictures or magazine cut-outs of some of your favorite outfits, or simply any questions you may have on how to make that color flow...I'd be glad to help make it happen!
Cheers.

What is this all about?

Inner Clothes It what? Some of you may be puzzled by the name, but it has a purpose, I promise. I want to start by taking you back in time...when was the first time you could remember dressing yourself? Why did you pick that outfit? I remember being 5 and picking these purple sneakers with rainbow shoelaces and a white and blue jumpsuit. Yes, it was the 80's. I recall feeling so proud in kindergarten that day because of my outfit (or the shoelaces)...ever since then I was all about the meaning of clothes and using it as a vehicle of expression. It may sound like a bizarre concept but, if you really think about it, it represents a big piece of who you are. I mean, I made some statements in middle school when I was a bit goth, wearing all black outfits every single day of the week, but it represented who I was during that period of my life.

We choose our outfits with a purpose, whether you realize it or not. Even when you walk out of your house in your sweatpants and t-shirt, your outfit is meaningful, even though it may just be for comfort. How many of you have been sad and gone out in the most unflattering outfit you own, because you just don't care? At the same time, how many times have you been feeling "sexy" and work the hottest thing you own? What are some responses you receive?

So what am I getting at? I want to help you project your inner beauty out into the world. I see a lot of beautiful people walking around, who lack confidence in themselves and hide behind their clothes, as if it were mask, because they are intimidated by their own potential. Anyone can feel fabulous with a little help in the style department, and once you feel fabulous, you'll project it! So with that being said....I want to help you achieve that fab sense of self. I'd like to hear some of your clothing experiences, questions, suggestions, and most importantly what they mean to you... I will be adding more content soon with latest trends, styles for all shapes and sizes, affordable style, dressing for all occasions, empowerment through clothes, and inner beauty motivation. I will also share the motivational pieces that I find valuable with you. Finally, my website www.innerclothesit.com is also in the works so stay tuned...

I look forward to experiencing your inner beauty...
